CONFUCIANISM AND THE AFRICAN STATE.

confucianism;can be reffered to the teaching that resilted from confucius philosophical ideas, in Chinese society the teaching of confucius become most popular after his death in the year of 479, particularly the teaching were more useful in the two period of spring and autum

 

Though the teaching we more important to chinese society but to some extent the teaching can also have a positive influence to African state on the process of creating a standard society in African continents.

directly the following can be used to answer the question that "how African state can draw a lesson from confucianism teaching for the process of creating a standard and better society " such lesson can be obtained on the following.

Filial piety. according to confucius filual piety means someone to feel sorry over one's parents, but he argue that for the creation of standard society filial piety is very important in any society but it should be started from the family level then the society up to the national level,  in the family level childrens should observe their responsibilities in their family,  confucius added that children must work to save their parents when parents grows old, to the society all the members should work friendly to save their societies and whole nation, also in filial piety confucius added that there must have a besic relationship which will help on the creation of standard society such relationship must be between, first son and his father, second, husband and wife, third younger son and elder brother,  fourth leaders and government ministers, last friend and friend the five basic relationship can be used as a major factor for the creation of standard societies in African state because both they will work to save themselves and the state

Education and distinction; from confucianism the African state can draw the lesson in term of education and distinction,  the education provided in Africa is a kind of education that targeted to creat or prepare young for employment opportunities which increased poverty and the class of dependency over the government hence lead to the rise of nation debt and lowering of development. basing on confucianism, confucius suggested the kind of education for the creation of standard society,  he argue that the education provided should that of kind for preparing young or student to know and work on their responsibilities and not waiting for employment so the education should be of self reliant to the students for example in Chinese society the kind of education offered aimed to prepare young to work for the state and state to work for them.

The Gentleman; according to confucius gentleman is a someone with ethical and ritual training and a good education and is of a moral behaviour,  in order to reunified china government must be lead by a gentleman, choosen for their moral character and not their noble birth, so inorder for reunified of African state the African goverment must be lead by a gentleman chosen for their moral behaviour and not noble birth because to become a gentleman is not a matter of birth, but is through trained and educated, and practice morality, according to confucius gentlemen will work to advice rulers, to solve others problems,  to put selfishness before others, demanded changes and etc

Rightness and knowledge; confucius defined rightness as a tendency of someone knowing proper, right and moral behaviour and knowledge is the something that someone was not born with,  but is the sometging someone struggle to have it,  in reffering to knowledge confucius categorize four groups of people namely, first those who born with knowledge, second those who acquire knowledge through learning,  third those who who still learning though find it difficult and last those who find learning difficult but they do not try it. basing on confucius views the African state can be reunified successful if its people are voluntaraly to work for knowledge in order to challenge and advice the state government when needed. African state require those people especially leaders who are able to know the proper, right and moral behavior so that they can lead people in respective manner.

Law; law means the acceptable principles and regulation agreed by few representative for governing a large group of people or institutions or an organization, by reviewing to confucianism teaching confucius criticizes the enactment and presence of laws because will force wrong doers to find a solution for escaping the law forexample corruption people will find an altenative way to corrupt. But the presence of laws can not stimulate the reunification of any state in the world example Chinese the only way as argued by conficius for state reunification moral behavior is needed for an extent,  the African state to reunified from problems the moral issues must be promoted because they stimulate and creat a responsible and accountable leaders who will work for the benefit of all majorities, hence the selfishness,  corruption and conflicts will not exist.

Ritual;according to confucius ritual means or involves respect, proper behaviour and moral action that creates a proper and civilized society,  for the reunification of African state from poverty, political instability, border conflict and religious conflict rituals are useful for reunified the society because ritual saves as basis of traditional and a web for social and political relationship,  to African state ritual are useful because it instill basic traditional and social and political relationship among the government leaders and the majority of the society.
